Little Red Riding Hood
The first unit this half term is a fiction unit. It is a warning tale and our focus within this story telling is setting description. The skills we are going to be learning in this unit include: subordinating conjunctions to extend our sentences (if, since, although, when, after, while, as, because, until, before); adverbial phrases (e.g. One autumnal evening,...); and expanded noun phrases (the idyllic, cosy cottage).
